As seen from the screenshot above, the column on the left is where you see what people are saying and what you have written. The banner on top shows the current chat room that you are in. In this example, the current chat room is "Chat Central36". The column on the right shows a list of the people (Chatters) you are currently chatting with. If you highlight a Chatter's name, you can send a private message to the Chatter by clicking on the PM button. If someone keeps sending you a message that you don't want, you can put them on Ignore by highlighting their name and clicking on the Ignore button. At the bottom right of the window, you can see link called "Who's Chatting". Clicking on this link will let you see if a friend is online. To change chat rooms, click on the "Change Room" link.
Note: When you "change rooms", you will see an "Adult" section. These rooms may contain "explicit chat" that some users might not want to encounter.
