How do I know if my account has been activated?
Usually, the webmaster will
email you as soon as the account is created. If
you have not recieved a letter and would like to "test"
to see if your web account is active, simply visit your webpage http//www.simplyweb.net/username
If the heading says "HTTP/1.0 403 Access Forbidden". This means your account has been
created. Feel free to upload your webpage. If the heading says "HTTP/1.0 404 Object Not Found" then the account has not yet been made. Please note that your page will echo the "Access Forbidden"
until you upload an index.html file. Whenever you upload your webpage, please make sure that your main/start/home page is named index.html Our webserver does not allow "directory listings" and this is why
you get the error "Access forbidden" Where can I download FTP software?

WS_FTP LE can be freely downloaded here.
Fetch (Macintosh) can be freely downloaded here. (3.03 is the freeware version)
Or you can use any other FTP client that supports the FTP standard.
